On February 24th, 2O22, Sean Westcott was leading a PepsiCo team as Senior Vice President R&D Europe. When the invasion of Ukraine began, the corporate playbook became irrelevant. That day, Sean’s leadership shifted from managing strategy to supporting his team through a humanitarian crisis in real-time.
While most leaders will not face a literal warzone, we all face heat experiences: complex, high-pressure situations that test our capacity to lead. Whether it’s an organizational overhaul, a market collapse, or a personal professional crisis, the internal pressure can be immense.
