In summary
Aurecon is a design, engineering, and advisory company that brings ideas to life to create a better future for people and the planet. With today's operating environment becoming increasingly uncertain, complex and volatile, Aurecon wanted to equip its leaders with the mindsets and tools necessary to succeed in this environment by leading from within. As such, the Aurecon team engaged Adeption to co-develop a leadership development experience for the organization's frontline leader population (early leaders).
The challenge: Design a scalable and flexible development experience
Aurecon engaged Adeption with a clear brief for the experience:
- Design and implement a democratized and technology-driven leadership development experience for frontline leaders that is scalable, flexible, and sustainable
- Deliver a highly personalized experience and drive insights into each leader’s assumptions and attitudes to set a foundation for the development and enhancement of their leadership skills
- The experience design needs to promote deliberate self-reflection, embed habits of lifelong everyday learning, have tools that will assist each leader’s development, and promote team effectiveness and a sense of community.
12-month experience delivering development in the flow of work
Built as a 12-month development experience, the Frontline Leadership Programme is designed to deliver learning experiences in the flow of work, supported by the Adeption platform.
The experience is delivered in groups of 6O, and includes self-paced digital workouts that can be completed around client and project commitments, as well as facilitated group workshops.
The Frontline Leadership Programme covers 5 modules:
- Leading Self
- Leading Others
- Leading Teams
- Leading Change
- Reflect and Sustain
Partnership snapshot
- Co-design of the overall blended leadership experience – including workshops and workouts on the Adeption platform
- Training in Adeption's B3 methodology to facilitate workshops that complement the Adeption workouts
- Co-delivery of the workshops and coaching
- Ongoing management and support during activation, with gradual handover to self-facilitating and self-managing groups.
Delivering on-the-job impact
- 2OO+ participants completed 1452 digital workouts
- Participants answered 18K questions on the Adeption platform
- 14K engagements (likes, comments, shares, chats)
- 8OO+ on the job actions recorded on the platform
